Come celebrate the great community we all call home. Bring the family and enjoy food, beverages, kids activities and musical entertainment in the heart of downtown Cedarburg. The event will kick off at noon with a brief parade crossing the Interurban Bridge to the stage area in front of City Hall. Following a short welcome, there will be a performance by the Cedarburg Civic Band and a demonstration by the Cedarburg Poms dance team.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an afternoon of musical entertainment beginning with duo “Whitney and Stephen.” Whitney Clapper, a singer-songwriter from Cedarburg, is known for her strong vocal performances, with Stephen O’Morrow adding harmonies and accompaniment on guitar. From 2 to 4 p.m., you will be treated to the smooth yacht rock sounds of “Whole Yachta Love.” The band, which is being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cedarburg-Grafton, includes six talented Midwestern musicians performing hits from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Vocalist Alyson Harms is a Cedarburg resident.
Inside the Community Gym, more than a dozen local nonprofit organizations will have booths available with information about the services they offer. A dedicated Kids’ Zone will be located in the City Hall parking lot offering a variety of children’s activities including a bounce house, face painting, craft stations and lawn games. The Cedarburg Fire Department will be there to give children the opportunity to check out one of their fire trucks.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon. In case of inclement weather, all activities will move inside the gym.
The Greater Cedarburg Foundation is a philanthropic organization that uses private funding to support projects and programs that enhance the quality of life in the greater Cedarburg community.
