Cedarburg Art Museum's 2018 juried show features historic and contemporary Cedarburg
Entries for the 2018 juried exhibition at the Cedarburg Art Museum are currently being accepted online at its website through July 31. “Historic Cedarburg: Then and Now” is the theme for artists in a great variety of media to interpret. Nineteenth century limestone mills, retail buildings, and homes as well as other historic landmarks are repurposed with new uses in Cedarburg. Artists are invited to interpret historic and/or present-day aspects of the city that reveal earlier times or a vibrant, contemporary community.
Artists are limited to one entry, and must upload or email a digital image of the artwork. This year's exhibition will be displayed at the museum October 3 through December 23. See the complete prospectus and apply at https://www.cedarburgartmuseum.org/call-for-artists. Questions about the juried exhibition may be addressed to registrar@cedarburgartmuseum.org.
